Middle School Math Project: (EETT Grant)
We (the seventh grade math team) are using technology in our math classrooms to improve student learning and conceptual understanding of mathematics. As part of our grant we purchased Qwizdoms, Interwrite Pads, Laptop computers, and LCD projectors. We are using United Streaming, Brain Pop, MicroSoft Office as well as other online resources. We use the California Standards and McDougal Littell Book 2 as our main resources. Our team is working together to create fun and interactive activities in our classrooms to engage students. We are excited to share our progress and setbacks with other interested teachers. Our API is 730 (up almost 30 points from last year) and our school rank is 6 state-wide (up one from last year) and 8 in simular school (up 2 from last year).
